If you are programmed to feel these things, then aren't they just emotions someone else has made you feel?

If someone punches you in the face, and you get angry, isn't that just an emotion someone else has made you feel?

We were programmed with the capacity to experience emotion. How any android reacts is different from any other, just like humans are.

[Example: You made 9S sad, and A2 pissed. >:(]

But I do not want her affection if it only comes because her programming says it should.

All androids love humans. That part is pretty inescapable.

It doesn't mean as much as you think it does, though. I'll probably never love you as much as 2B does. She'll probably never love some of the humans I do as much, and the same goes for 9S.

There's different levels of it, even if the baseline is the same. Is that really that hard to understand?
