It doesn't matter if you will heal from it. If you are suffering, even if only for a moment, you should tell him.

That would be both time consuming and pointless. He knows that I was made to fight and that people like us can never be a stranger to pain. I won't bother him for every little problem when he has better things to focus on.

If the injury were worse or the pain something I couldn't regulate, I would tell him.
